校長的話─疫境中的明智顯悲
明明每天回校上課，跟同學互相嬉鬧、一起學習，生活似乎是平常，不過，就從某天起，學校加了新規條：
1. 不可以身體接觸；
2. 不可以共享午膳；
3. 不可以回校上課；
4. 必須要佩戴口罩。
相信同學從沒想過，原來世界可以一下子變天。
智能手機和平板電腦在以往主要用來溝通和消閒，現在成了同學學習的重要媒介。遊戲以外，能否妥善運用這些器材，往往成為學習成效高低的關鍵。如何在新常態的學習環境中發揮效能，全賴同學能有自律的良好操守，一念之間，決定成敗得失。可幸的是，我們大部份同學沒有因在家網課而荒廢學業，仍然保持積極學習的態度，實在令人感到欣慰。
顯然，世界近乎停擺，有人會感到沮喪和洩氣。意想不到的是，在航空癱瘓、各國往來停頓、大家都不知所措時，自然界卻有了喘息的機會，漸次復甦。被污染的海洋變得清澈明淨，生機出奇地蓬勃起來。可見天無絕路，我們只要保持平常心，覺知當下，樂觀積極面對，否極自會泰來。
悲憫心是我們著意為同學培養的素質。在保持距離、停止接觸的氛圍下，我們經常強調的慈悲心還有什麼空間可以表現出來﹖義工服務﹖做不了！探訪活動﹖去不得！要關愛別人談何容易﹖然而，在疫情下展現在我們眼前的是一幅溫馨有愛的圖畫：幾位同學正在為老人院中的長者拍攝短片、另一些同學把表演、遊戲和祝福字句通過電子熒幕送給長者，他們並沒有放棄關愛別人，而是用各種智慧、各出奇謀，讓長者在被隔離的日子，可以得到溫暖和歡樂。
我深信在人生路上，同學可以繼續以「智慧」」面對多變的處境，應付各種挑戰；也可以用「慈悲心」幫助別人，達到「自利、利他」的目標。
同學們，在六月初夏的晨光中，讓我們一起努力：
明瞭環境變化，智慧應對危機，顯現自律精神，悲憫關愛他人。

Dear Parents and Students,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our school website. BSTC has a reputation of excellence and we will continue to strive to become the best.
Having worked at BSTC for more than twenty years, I am committed to providing students with an all-round education. Under my leadership, and as a team working together, we strongly promote academic excellence among our students. Other than a comprehensive curriculum, our school provides students with leadership opportunities, character education and exposure to technologies in order to prepare them to compete with their global counterparts.
To our parents, we believe that your involvement is of paramount importance to the academic success of your children. Your participation in our school is needed and greatly appreciated.
To our students, you might think that studying at a band 1 school is a dream come true as it provides you with a conducive learning environment to grow into knowledgeable, intellectual and mature individuals. However, you might also experience great study pressure as your fellow schoolmates are all high achievers and the competition is keen. I hope that you can focus on your own improvements without being affected by others since comparing your performance with that of others is meaningless.

With a goal of doing better than your own self, you should then set realistic goals and put your plans into action. Without action, plans are only empty words; dreams will remain to be dreams. Only by pursuing your goals step by step can you finally make your dreams come true. I wish all the Sin Tak students every success in the future.
