Our 2018-2019 debating team consist of a junior and a senior team with a total of 15 members and two team coaches (Ms. Wai and Ms. Chong). We have joined the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition for five consecutive years now. Through debating we aim to give students the necessary experience to be able to argue confidently the pros and cons of current local and international issues as well as give better responses to related DSE examination questions.
Moreover, it helps develop students' research skills, critical thinking, argumentative writing, team work and broadens their exposure to practical uses of English.
