Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2017

Organized by Samsung, Solve for Tomorrow 2017 is open to all secondary school students in Hong Kong. They can enter as teams of three from the same school and compete in conceiving innovative ideas of applying technology to benefit wheelchair users as a meaningful contribution to society. With “Smart Future for Disability Inclusion” as this year’s theme, Samsung hopes young people can come up with innovative ideas of applying technology to help wheelchair users solve problems in their daily life, such as when they travel, dine out, enjoy leisure activities, etc. The goal is to help build a more inclusive community in Hong Kong for the disabled. 3 teams of 9 students those are led by Mr. K H Yeung have participated the competition in October 2017. The submitted innovative ideas have incorporated multimedia elements and professional Powerpoint techniques to attract the judging panel or other viewers. Congratulations to the ideas named Roadporter “路見不平” prepared by 5A Tai Yat Long, 5B Tam Yuen Hong and 5B Yip Pak Ming who were the silver award for the captioned event on Sunday, 14th January 2018. The silver award is entitled to have cash prize of HK $30,000 and Samsung products of HK $20000.
