On the 3rd July, our Filmit Team attended the Filmit 2018 Awards Ceremony, organized by the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Section, Curriculum Development Institute, Education Bureau (EDB) and European Union Office, as we were nominated for ‘Best Ensemble Performance’ and ‘Best Solo Performance’ (2C Ceci Cheng) in the Junior Secondary Category. Our Filmit Team comprised of 2A Michael Chan, 2A Haru Li, 2A Michelle Man, 2C Ceci Cheng, 2C Oscar Lee, 2C Max Mak and 3D Ivan Li. They attended scriptwriting, filming and editing workshops at the EDB NET Section, South Island School and Chinese International School beforehand to better prepare them for the competition. The whole team worked tirelessly to product the unique short video clip of “Two Stupid Thieves”. We would like to congratulate 2C Ceci Cheng for winning the award of ‘Best Solo Performance’! We hope more students will enter next year in this fun and creative competition.
