In order to have in-depth experience and understanding of the local innovative technology and applications, 24 S.4 Chemistry students visited the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park after the Term 1 Examination. This visit provided them with a valuable opportunity to engage with IR Dr HL Yiu, the Chief Corporate Development Officer of the Science Park and an esteemed alumnus of our school. Dr. Yiu shared his insights on the latest strengths and opportunities in innovative technology. Our students had a deeper understanding on the role of Hong Kong in the national and global innovation landscape.
Our students also had the chance to interact with the Project Development Lead of isoFoodtrace, where they learnt the essential qualities required for an innovative technology professional and the potential challenges they may face. This helps the students to develop a better understanding of the latest development trends of the innovative industry and it is helpful for them to shape their future career plans.
Furthermore, the students visited the Experience Centre in the Hong Kong Science Park, where they had hands-on experiences with cutting-edge products and technologies developed by the HKSTP.
