Introduction to the school's music activities

        Our school aims at promoting the intellectual and aesthetic development of students by organizing various music activities . We boost our students' confidence and give them an opportunity to explore their inner potentials. Our school has established different kinds of music activities. They include the School Choir, the Western Chamber Orchestra and the Chinese Orchestra. In addition, our school offers 40 instrumental training classes for students in this year.

Chinese Orchestra

         Our Chinese Orchestra has been established for more than twenty years. It aims at cultivating our students' appreciation of and love for Chinese traditional music as well as propagating the Chinese culture. We have therefore set up various traditional Chinese instrumental training classes, which are taught by professional instructors. In the past Music Festivals, our participants gave impressive performance in various contests.

The Chinese orchestra drowns the spectators in beautiful melody in the Summer Serenade 2001-2002.

School Choir

         Our school choir has more than eighty members. Most of them are Secondary One to Secondary Four students. Within the short period of time after its establishment, it gained remarkable achievements.

You see! We are very concentrate during the performance.

Why we are smiling? It's because we have won the singing competition.

Chamber Orchestra

      Our school chamber orchestra was formed in 1997. Our mission is to develop students' interest and foster their love for symphonic music. Now, the orchestra consists of about 40 members,  most of them are secondary one to secondary four students.

Our members believe that good music is a component of practice and cooperation!

Our school choir, chamber orchestra and Chinese orchestra are dedicating their beautiful music to the audience in the school's 30th anniversary ceremony and performance.
