Establishment of the Buddhist Sin Tak College Alumni Fund (“BSTCAF”)

Objectives:

1. The BSTCAA established the “BSTC Alumni Fund” in 2024 to celebrate the School's 50th Anniversary.

2. The Alumni Fund is dedicated to supporting meaningful programmes for the School community.

3. We encourage our alumni to contribute generously to support the funds. For more information, please contact the Alumni Association at alumni@bstc.edu.hk.

For Current Students

BSTCAA provides funds to support current students in two types of programmes:
 

Alumni Association Scholarship for Diversity Learning – Open for application  / Grant by nomination
 

Quotas: 2 (maximum grant: HK$10,000 each)
 

The fund supports student-initiated experiential learning projects involving a group of at least two students. Projects should engage students in a quality learning experience in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong during a specified period within a course of activity.

Eligible activities may include participation in extra-curricular cultural or sports programmes, such as international student exchanges, inter-school debates, and sports competitions.

A maximum grant of HK$10,000 is available for each for two quotas.
 

Scholarship for Off-School Advanced Learning – Open for application / Grant by nomination

Quotas: 3  (maximum grant: HK$3,000 each)

The fund provides financial assistance and guidance to students, particularly gifted students, who require support to participate in advanced learning activities outside the classroom. These activities are offered by professional organizations or tertiary institutions.

A maximum grant of HK$3,000 is available for each of the three quotas.

For Alumni

The Association allocates a portion of the fund to organize activities that foster professional knowledge exchange and industry experience among alumni.
 

For the Operation of the Association

The Association sets aside a portion of the fund to finance the operation of the Alumni Association. This enables the Association to expand its communications and enhance its services for the School community further.
